When will my red sex links start laying every day?

I have 4 red sex links. On Monday one of them layed a small eggs. She hasn't layed since. I've heard red sex links are great layers. My question is when will the eggs get bigger and when will they start laying everyday?

. Pleased you joined us. Young pullets always start out laying small eggs - they increase slowly over time and will become "normal" in a a couple months. It takes a while for brand new layers to get in the swing of things and start laying regularly. That said, a lot of people are under the misconception that chickens lay an egg a day everyday. I think I have read 260-280...maybe as many as 300 eggs/year is peak production for the best laying breeds. Your red sex-links fall into that best laying category.
