I have a pair of turkeys who are old enough to lay this year. Lately, the male has been strutting all the time but I have not seen them mating. Are there any signs that the female is ready to lay eggs? I know with my chickens the comb gets really red when they are about to lay. Are there any signs like this with turkeys?
