When will the eggs come?

the chickens are 22 weeks tomorrow and we are only getting 3 a day there is 15 ladies. when is do they start laying i have read around 20 weeks. i started getting one egg at 18 weeks. just wondering. thank you for your time.

Depends on the breed, and also if they are hatchery birds or exhibition birds. And then there's the individual birds - even some that are "supposed" to lay at a certain age don't always. My exhibition Ameraucanas don't lay until they are 8 months old.

i got all my birds from the local feed store. i have slw, rir, bo, ee, br.
