When wll my hens start laying

Hello I have 20 hens that will be 20 weeks old the week of the 20th of Aug 2012 and I was wondering when I will get there first egg if anyone know can they please help me thank you.

It varies depending on the breed. Some come into lay sooner than others. You'll get an inkling as to when they'll start laying when they start squatting for you. When they start doing that, it'll be very soon.
