When you order Standards & Bantams- do they ship them in 1 box?

I'm till trying to get my order together....GRRRR!!! Quite frustrating! I can't make up my mind - SO many chickens...only so much space!!!

Anyway, if I order 6 standard chicks and 10 bantams...do they ship them together in one box? Do the bigger chicks crush the little chicks?

I ordered from ideal and they shipped them all together....they did fine. None DOA.

They ship them together, but there are cardboard dividers in the box so the little guys aren't in with the bigger ones.

It probably depends on the hatchery. I came across a few that would not ship bantams and standards together at all. I forget which ones though. I'm ordering from Ideal (when I can save up enough money) because they will ship both together for me.

Ideal shipped my last batch of chicks all together in one box. It was 8 standard chicks, 9 bantams. We had no losses due to crushing. Two of the smallest bantams did require a little extra TLC, but they were super-tiny anyway (Dutch and OEGB.) There was not a divider between the types of chicks.
