When?

it is day 20 for our 24 barred plymyth rock eggs, been in lockdown for 2 days. When should we hear a peep or some sort of sign of life, none yet, I make the house real quiet and listen to bator a couple times a day hoping to hear a peep but still no action.

This is my venting post just gotta let it out! Just a last question does every one hear their eggs peep before they hatch? I am a rookie. Thanks

day 20 for me too, 7 bantam faverolle's.

You won't here them peeping unless they have pipped enternally. Keeping listening cause you could at any time.

I know the waiting part is awful

I am stuck at work.

Took tomorrow off so I could be home when the hatch

It dosnt hurt to peep to them a bit and see if you get a responce. Momma Hen would talk to her eggs as she hears peeping.

off to a 4h meeting, hope to have progress when I get back!!!

Here I am day 21 not a pip or cheep cheep, nothing. How many days after day 21 could you still expect to have a hatch? I am thinking I have got a 100% bad hatch on my hands!
