Where are my eggs??

Is there anything else I should be doing to help them with getting out molting?

I have about 17 laying hens and I am only getting bout 4-6 eggs a day. I have notice that they are molting but it seems like they have molting since Feb or Mar of this year. I have upped their protein intake with higher protein pellets and crumble. I also mix apple vinegar in their water once a week. And throw out grubbies (dried grubs) out every other day.

The breeds that you keep and raise is important to your success with home grown eggs.
At one time I had about 300 game hens and starting about September through November and on into December I didn't get enough fresh eggs a week to make a Tuna fish or tater salad. However I did enjoy frozen eggs for baking and scrambling.
