Where are the eggs?

My six month-old Guineas are doing fine and are out and about a lot, but for the life of me, I can't find any eggs anywhere. Have they not started laying yet? Also, they frequently have diarrhea and the coop smells bad. What to do about that? I put a few nesting boxes in there for them and they just poop all over them. Don't they know to keep certain areas clean?

they are seasonal layers. they lay from april to sept depending on the warm weather. and when they do lay they will between 11 and 2 and will not lay in the nest boxes unless you leave them up in coop until after 3 in the afternoon. letting them free range all day long they will lay any where they can hide good.
