are you using the pool as a brooder?
my mom had had success using the big cardboard boxes at grocery stores that produce comes in and they set out on the floor, you know like watermelons sit in. most stores like Aldi, or walmart recycle them and will let you have them free. they also come with lids. dont know if that would work for you.
If you are talking about the blue hard plastic wading pools I have not yet seen them this year. They are sort of seasonal atleast here. I bet they are becoming hot ticket items because they make great raised beds and so many are trying to get more self sufficient. I usually see them at walmart, Kmart and target. When they have them they are usually outside against the front wall of store.

I just bought a roto-tiller so that box is what I ended up using for my brooder - it works fine. But I want pools for the outside duck/goose runs too.
We don't have a K-Mart here and I checked Target as well. I need to find a dollar store!
Maybe I should just call WalMart every morning and see if they're there. Its a half hour drive into town though - maybe they will hold them for me if they have them.

AHhhhhhhh...raised beds! I was like - seriously how many people are needing these for brooders! Makes sense. I may have to wait a month or two - I'm in Colorado so probably too cold still to have these out.
