Look for plans for a storage shed, pole building or garage and replace the sheeting/siding etc with 1/4 welded mesh and it would basically be a run. There are some apps too for contractors where you can make up a simple structure and it will give you an approximate supply list. Some big box hardware stores like Menards offer that service for free if you're buying materials there. You just sketch out the shape and measurements and bring that to them. Explain what you want it made of and they'll enter it into the computer and it'll tell you how much lumber etc you need.I am looking to add a run onto my current coop. My coop holds 6 birds and I would like to add a large run with a regular size door made out of lumber. I am having problems finding some run plans that list instructions and all the materials needed. Can anyone give me some advise or answers?!
