Look for Breed Code "R7" in the linked NPIP list for MI.

If you are near the borders of other states, look at NPIP (a certification org) by state:
http://www.poultryimprovement.org/statesContent.cfm

Here is the breed list for the codes (R7 is for Buff Orps listed on page 9):

YW. Not sure about show quality, but these are farms/breeders/hatcheries that have taken the time and effort to get NPIP certified per breed, so generally will result in healthy birds.
