Does anyone know where I can go online (for FREE) and design and layout my coop and pen? I would like to come up with a supply list too?

I don't know of any free, legal programs that can do that. Kind of too small of a niche market for someone to make a program to design a coop, especially for free. You might be able to draw one with Google Sketchup, but you'll have to figure out the material list on your own, and it's a bit of a learning curve. As for me, I'm currently designing my coop with an old fashioned pencil and paper.

Search the library on Sketch Up. There are quite a number of coop plans on there for free. You can then modify them.
