Where can I get heritage large breed meat birds?

They are going to come from show and hobby breeders, and no breeder is going to offer you a selection of every breed you could possibly want. So, first you have to decide upon a breed, and then you locate a breeder of that breed.

In most cases, you can find breeders on the Heritage Large Fowl thread here on BYC. Perhaps open a conversation with folks.

Most breeds have clubs. Most clubs have a website and also have breeder lists on their sites.

Attend a poultry show this month. Many top show folks bring birds to sell, as they limit their flocks for the wintering over group.

Few, if anyone, has eggs or chicks this time of year. The birds are often in moult. Breeding will start again in early February. Hope this helps.
