I have about 4 week old chicks, and one white wyn. seems to have bubbles in her eye and is sneezing. She seems perfectly fine besides that, I've seperated her and put her with two other chicks. Does anybody know what this is and what I can do for her??

I've read, again only read, that that is something like a cold for us. I'd go to feed store and see what they have to remedy it quickly before it dies. Heard people say put vitamins in their water helps too but sounds like cold/pnemonia (sp) to me.

did you post in emergency section? if so post a link so I can read more about it...thanks

Chickens do NOT get colds. Disinfect the whole brooder, change all the litter, disinfect the inside and outside of feeders, all perches, everything.

It's either VERY bad news or the bacteria MG.

MG you get from dirty, wet, litter or molds or other stuff accumulating. Remove the affected chick to something you can keep very dry, warm and clean. Unfortunately younger ones will succumb to it rather more quickly than older chickens. It's very common in the spring after coops have been sealed up and humid all winter.

Otherwise it's something worse and bad ...stuff... is going on.

MG is more common. And with all the rain, I'd expect it first.
