Last night went to bed and had 6 geese. 3 Sebastopol and 3 big white. Woke up this morning I had 2 Sebastopol and 2 big white. Came home from appointment and all that is left are 2 Sebastopol. These geese have been free range for 2 years and never had one stray or get taken by a predator. There are no signs of struggle, fethers or bodies. Did they just decide to leave, a predator or dod someone take them? What do you think?

Absolutely no feathers is likely a person stealing them. A few feathers is likely a coyote, they kill quickly and carry off.

Thats what i think too. No feathers what so ever. And I walked the entire 13 acres and couldnt find hide nor hair of them.

Do you think there is anything I can do? Or just count my blessings that i still have a pair.
You might try police not sure they would do anything but I'd sure lock up the 2 you have left. Get a game camera and set it up where it won't be noticed . That way what ever it is will be caught on camera.

Very sorry for your loss @Birdladyof50

Thank miss lydia i appreciate it. My husband thinks he might know who took them. He is going to check after work.

Please let us know what he finds. I just hate the thought someone would come on my property and steal my birds.
