Where do Chicks Roost?

It depends a bit. I've had hens take them back to a nest, but the usual space is in a corner of the coop on the floor.

My brooder raised chicks usually do not roost until they are about 10 to 12 weeks old, but my broodies usually take them to high places to roost by the time they are about 4 to 5 weeks old. No two are alike.

We use to have our roost way up next to celing and our hen whould take her chick straight up there everynight from 2nd day.It made me a wreck so we moved hem into their own pen, but the little chicks always made it and looked so funny up so high with the big girls.
