A while ago I bought a Hovabator 1602N without the fan and bought several PC fans and tried to wire it in, but that was a failed project. I do not want to go the PC fan route again. I dusted it off this morning and and ready to try again, but I'm not a fan of still air. So I need to buy the actual fan kit. I have Googled for at least the past hour with nothing but dead ends. I found a few random ones on eBay, but they're not the actual one made for that incubator. Do they not make a fan kit for the Hova-Bator 1602N anymore? I found a few that are made by incubator warehouse and other random places. Question is... Where do you buy the actual fan kit for the hova-bator 1602N OR have you purchased one of those "other" ones and it worked out?

Thanks!

*NOTE* I did find this one: https://www.incubators.org/turbofan-kit-for-hova-bator-incubator-2364.html BUT says it's for 2364. Will it still work?

Go look on Cutlers Supply website. It is a small business and very helpful with inquiries from customers. The owner can tell you which fan will work.

I've wired up several computer fans onto incubators and it is the way to go. Having a separate plug is a big advantage during lockdown because you can turn the fan off while hatching is going on to prevent shrink wrapped chicks. I found it trivial to wire up, as long as you have the very small wire nuts (or know how to solder). Taping the wires is a recipe for frustration because it comes lose too easily.
