Where do I find a water tube, water weasel etc. ?

I saw recommendations for the water weasel, water tube etc. for use in checking incubator temperature. I've looked at Walmart and Dollar General, asked at both and neither have them. I have a little cup about 1' high in the incubator filled with water that I have been checking the temperature of in my hovabator. I'm using a digital medical thermometer accurate to within .2 degree. Is it recommended to put it in the middle and check the temperature there? It seems to vary by location in the bator, even though it has a fan.

I never could find one so I made my own. I filled a sealable sandwich baggie with water not full because you need to be able to roll it up maybe around a pencil once it is closed and then tape it together the bottom of the baggie to the top of the baggie. It should leave like a little hole thru the center to put a temp probe.

The walmart near me had them in the party section of the store. Where they sell small toys for kids birthday parties. I think some found them at a dollar store, but I haven't seen them in any near me.

I've heard talk of water weasels, and you can tell by my posts i'm a newbie, what, other than being used in an incubator, is a water weasel used for. thanks

I found a whole box of them at a place called Deals in Nashville. I bought every one of them<g>. They were a dollar a piece. I had also checked the other places and couldnt find them. My question is though, how do you stick the probe for the Spot check in it? You just push it in and tape it? Or do you make a hole and stick it in and then seal it? Ive asked several times and never have gotten an answer.

you put the probe in the center of the water weasel. You know in the middle of the ring. You shouldn't have to tape it or anything just set it inside. Don't poke a hole or the stuff comes out and its no good anymore.
