Where do I get food grade DE??

I have found it at some stores but it is not food grade?? And can I use it with chicks that are two weeks old as well as my adults ? My babies are scratching like crazy and I think it could be mites?

I just purchased a 10 lb bag of food grade DE for $26.00(incl. shipping) at www.earthworkshealth.com. This was the cheapest I was able to find online.

You should be able to find a local distributor. Feed store etc. I have to drive an hour to get mine but I pay $19 for 50 lbs and no shipping. You might want to call this lady and he could direct you to a supplier list. Freshwater Organics

I get mine from FreshwaterOrganics.com.
It's food grade from Perma Guard and Fran is great to ship immediately.
It's a bit pricey*60.00 with shipping included for the 50lb bag, but I cannot find it locally around here regularly. I've gotten it from time to time but the feed stores say they don't get enough people using it to warrant keeping it in stock.

I think some others on here have gotten some from CustomMilling.com also.
