when should i collect the eggs for incubating when i get a incubator and where do you store the eggs before and how long do you have to store them for before you put them in

thanks to all help

Just store them in a carton. Tip them a little, so they aren't upside down, and rotate them everyday, so that nothing Inside sticks. Have you thought about hatching under a broody? I think that is the best way.

when i store them what temp do i leave them at and do i have to store them can i just put them in the incubator

if you have a basement that stays at about 60F that is OK.
a little cooler or warmer won't hurt.

you can store them up to a month.
just keep in mind, the longer you store them the less hatches you will have.
I always try to get them into the incubator within a week. I shoot for 3 days ideally ..

Shipped eggs must be allowed to sit for 24 hours, fat end up before you can put them in the incubator.
If straight from your coop, there is no need to wait. But it is best to set all the eggs at once, and not over the course of several days.
