Where do you all keep your incubator?

Where do you all keep your incubator,iN this heat?. We were planning on having our brooder in the center hall way of our house. But we have 2 incubators going and it's hotter than hot in here.
all this equipment is going out to the shed when my husband gets the circut breaker replaced.
Also do you down size your lamps in your brooders for the summer hatches?
Are Quail as good about moving away from the light as chickens are?

I have my incubator in my bedroom right now, and will keep it there when I set eggs. There is an ocillating fan in the room, facing away from the dresser where the bator sits and we have furnace vents feeding A/C in from the ceiling. Our house is all block so the A/C holds pretty steady and the heat from the incubator isn't an issue thus far.
Ours were almost four weeks when our first heat wave hit and the A/C took a couple days to properly cool the place down, we ended pulling their heat all together and they were happy without it from then on. As far as brooding out tiny ones, I've heard from people using anything from half the wattage they normally use down to a 40 watt bulb. I guess it depends where you're brooding, I'll be brooding indoors so it won't be a huge difference for me, but if you're brooding in a non-climate controlled area you may need to use a fairly low output bulb to get the right stable temps.

You should always run your incubator in a cool place.The basement is always cool and moister then any room in your house.It also needs to be in the open so air can get to it,you don't want it to be tucked into a corner where the air can't get to it.The brooder temps need to be at 95 for the 1st week,90 for the 2nd,85 for the 3rd,80 4th and if it's that hot where your at they should be fine with just a light that doesn't throw any heat.It doesn't matter what the outside temps are the chicks need to be brooded at these temps for optimal growth.
