Where does one begin to "Show" their Chickens?

I am interested in attending some Poultry shows with some of my chickens. I don't know where to start, does anyone have any suggestions?

Do You have show quality stock or hatchery stock? I would attend some shows first and learn from breeders and how they do it before you start. You also need a breed/breeding program you love enough to continue the line

Start by finding a local show and going to watch it. Then you can decide if you really want to show.

I would start by getting the standard of perfection book. it will tell you all you need to know about the kind of chicken you want to show
