Where does your rooster sleep?

I'm curious if he sleeps in the coop with the hens, do you have a seperate coop, in a box, or where?
Ours likes to roost ontop of the run, the hens jump up and sit with him until I put them in the coop at night. Before Dudley came to live with us, they would just go in at night and hop up on a roost and go to sleep. Now I have to put them up. If you have more then one rooster, do they sleep together as one big happy family?

My RIR roo and the Buff Orp roo both sleep on the roost boards with their girls, while the OEGB BBRed roo sleeps on a brace up high near the ceiling of the chickenhouse with his 2 girls.

My roo's sleep on the top of the teen run next to the pen. They can see everything from there and their morning wake up call echos to all the neighbors!

My three guys sleep with their respective girls. My roo to hen ratio is really high right now, but works since they're young. Anyway, the result is that each rooster is tucked between a couple of pullets on a perch.

Every situation is different, because chickens are individuals, in the end.
The general rule is one roo to 10 hens. But many have a breeding pair or trio (one roo) which do fine.

If you have a roo sleeping ouside the coop, and an roo inside, then the inside roo is dominant, and the outside one is the outcast. If Dudley is the only roo, I would just put him on the roost at night for a while, until he learns that this is where he belongs.
