Where in Massachusetts

Where in Massachusetts can you own a small amound of chickens and ducks? We are looking to buy a house and just want to make sure we can bring them with us.

I live in Woburn.... no problem at all with chickens but Roosters aren't allowed. I don't know about ducks...

In Ipswich as long as you have 1 acre or more I believe you can have as many as you want for personal use. You do need a building permit for the coop itself (hassle but more of a formality as long as it is small enough and far enough from your lot lines).
