Thank you, everyone.

My issue started a year and a half ago with recurrent ear infections. Back in June it led to ruptured ear drums that won't heal by themselves and will require surgery to repair.

Just when I was healed back before Christmas I thought I was going to bounce right back and had scheduled my surgery but on Christmas Eve I began developing yet another ear infection, which I am still fighting. I cannot hear well at all and the reactions to so many antibiotics and other meds has really knocked me for a loop. Most days I am useless beyond seeing to it that my family eats, kids get to school and the laundry stays caught up.

Hopefully the treatments began yesterday will progress and this will be behind me very soon.

I'm so sorry. My husband had surgery on some bones which fused in his ears a few years ago. It's difficult to live with problems like that. I'll bet that your balance is affected as well.

Take care. I hope that you can get in for your surgery soon.

And please don't think of your currently limited abilities as "useless". It sounds like you are doing a lot every day given the circumstances.
