Where should I place the vent holes in my home made bator?

I purchased four bottle corks from Hobby Lobby. I did not want to poke holes in my nice new contraption until I knew exactly where they should go. Any advice.

I went to the Learning Pages and followed the instructions on styrofoam incubators. I poked 16 quarter inch holes in both sides four along the bottom 2 in from the bottom and four along the top 2 in from the top. Now we will see how much adjusting I'll have to do.

You can always go back and poke more holes around the top if you need to let more humidity out.

I poked 1/4" holes around the bottom of my cooler-bator - like 3 on each side and 3/4" holes at the top for humidity.

The I just used duct tape to cover and uncover as I needed to for humidity control.

My cooler was a plastic cooler, though - not sure if the duct tabpe would work on styro...

I bought bottle corks to plug holes but they are too big. I'll just get smaller ones. Thanks for the input I need all the encouragement I can get.
