Where to buy California quail

Hi there, I have been looking everywhere to find one female California quail.
I live in Sydney and need a female California.

Let me know if you find some. I have a lone male california who'd probably love a female too.

I do have one I wouldn't recommend. I got a pair of californias and bobwhites from a breeder who I strongly suspect had inbred them badly. Both bobwhites died without any apparent reason and I tried to hatch chicks from both pairs a couple of times with no luck. I did hatch a california chick but it died suddenly at a few days old with no apparent reason. To add to that, I found out later that my bobwhite hen was missing some toes, probably a hatch defect. And, if that's not enough, when we got them, he had openly talked about having no problem breeding siblings.

You can check places like QuailsAustralia (I check there a lot).
