Does anyone know where I can buy DE in Michigan. I live in Clarkston which is between Pontiac/Flint/ Davison/ Waterford, within that square right off I-75 . Thanks Michiganders.

You might want to check with your feed mill. The feed mill were I live special ordered it for me, but I have to buy 50 lbs. at a time. They only charged me $23 or $25 for the whole bag which will probably last me a year. Some of the other threads mention huge prices plus shipping cost just for 5 or 10 lbs. Best bet - check with your feed mill or any other.

Heidi, Thanks. Yes, I have tried 3 of feed stores plus the Tractor Supply Store. No one around here has it. Maybe they'll order it for me. I'll try some feed stores that are further away, say more than 20 miles.

Be sure that it's food grade diatomaceous earth if you get it from a mill. When I ordered from a feed mill and it was not food grade-too much silicon in it. If the crystalline silica is over 3% it is dangerous for ingestion by human or animal. I like this website for ordering, and their prices are good.
