where to get baby ducks in nyc?

hello everyone! im looking to buy some baby ducklings, maybe like two of them. there for my cousin for christmas because she is obsessed with them and had two baby ducks a few years ago but a neighbors cat got to them, and she was crushed, i know it would really make her year if i could get her a little duck.

i live in nyc so its pretty hard to find any. once in awhile there are some ads of craiglist for them, so there has got be a way those people are getting them!
if anyone has any and is willing to drive over here that would be amazing, or if anyone knows of a website that i could buy some and they would be here before christmas. thanks so much guys

Cant help with suggestions as I am WAY to far away.. But I have had a lot of people ringing me asking about if I have ducklings for sale as they want them for Christmas presents. I was surprised at how popular they have been and certainly would have stacked the incubator a month ago had I known. They are gifts for children and In laws mostly, and after having 45 ducks a weeks ago- I am now left with just one older pair for sale. Those who missed out on the younger ducklings have taken older ones just so they didnt miss out. I have had a few people upset they left it too late to get what they wanted- but I have offered them a gift certificate. I have eggs in the incubator due on Christmas day and New Years day that can be picked up once people have recovered from Christmas and all the festivities. They have all been happy to take this option as ducklings are even hard to find here in Melbourne, Australia at the moment.

Maybe if you cant actually locate some ducklings- you may be lucky enough to find someone who has some eggs currently being incubated. You could make up a gift certificate and allow her time to get a brooder and things set up while you are waiting for them to hatch. I know it wouldnt be quite the same...but Im sure it would still make her very happy.

Metzer farms has lots of different kinds and they ship. Go to www.metzerfarms.com and pick out what kind you want to give your cousin. Their minimum duck order is 2 ducklings so youre in luck! I hope this helped
