Where to get large buff orphingtons?

HI Everyone,

I have buff orphingtons along with several other breeds, but each time I go to a state fair, those Buffs are 2x as large and round as mine are. Are they a different variety or ?? The ones at the fair look like basketballs and they are so friendly.

I know of three breeders on BYC who have nice Buffs - bargain, hinkjc, and (ahem) myself.

I'm sure we are not the only ones with large Orps, though.

My orps are pictured on my web site www.hinkjcpoultry.com . I think you just need to look around and stay away from hatchery birds if you want nice sized ones and ones that are bred for excellent body conformation.
