Where to get venison?

I love deer meat but don't know anyone who hunts. Can you legally buy venison anywhere?

Don't know about Washington, but not in Oregon...cuz it's not USDA...maybe could order from a deer farmer???

I live in WA too but am not sure, have you asked any butcher shops? I found this website that sells it and ships it to you, let me know if you have any luck finding it local, I'd buy it too!!

We kill enough deer in the winter to last all year. We live off deer mainly, eat it every single day and it is so good...and good for you. My DH has me spoiled on some good food

You can't sell it here where I am but you can give it away. We do that to a few older folks that aren't able to hunt anymore. We often take them meats but other than that you will have to find yourself someone who is a hunter or try out that link....Good luck -

Try posting on Craigslist. Often hunters look for someone to give vension to.

Here in Ks the police dept has a list you can get on to claim deer that were hit by cars. It's free.
