WHERE TO ORDER QUAIL EGGS

I live on the eastern end of Long Island and ticks are really really REALLY bad this year! I'm sick with babesiosis, and now thinking about what I can do to help control the tick population. I'd love to hatch and release quail. The area used to be full of quail, but development has lessoned the number of wild quail in the area.

Please recommend where I can mail order quail eggs for hatching.

I wouldn't use quail. They are unlikely to survive being released more than a few days. Your best bet to control ticks would be with Guineas and they would stand a much better chance than the Quail would and they are known to control ticks.

I'm not aloud to release guineas in the wild here, but with a license I am aloud to release quail.
