Agrees that winter access might be a priority.
I have a door to coop and a door to run, close together.

ETA: I didn't have shade to choose, but yeah that could be a priority.

Mine too.....and late day summer sun is wicked.
We have very similar climates...my bro lives in HV.

I'm thinking tarps will be my, and the girls best friend in the summer. The sun will reflect off the shop too.

I used shade cloths and tarps....toss up between more air flow vs deeper shade.
