Which Antibiotic?

There seems to be quite a selection of possible injectable antibiotics available over the counter. The question is which one for general use? I am using Oxytetracyline 200 for any signs of respiratory disease, or for any signs of infection from dubbing or bumblefoot surgery. Should I be using something else?

Penicillin is a good general antibiotic.

Baytril (have to get from a Vet) is a good broad spectrum one.
