which are worse? dogs or racoons?

we got some chickens and one night I went to check on them cuz they were making a wierd noise. and when I got there my dog was trying to get in to the coop! I got him inside and when I went back, a racoon was trying to get in. then I screamed at it and it gave me a "OMG" look and ran off. which are worse? a racoon or a dog?

racoons but dogs can be also if there not trained around chickens. Dogs will be dogs so they need to be watched very close if they have not been around chickens before.

Around here, dogs are much worse. Train your dog and socialize it with chickens. Then, if you have a fenced property, lock the chickens in the coop at night and let the dog loose to keep the coons away.
