Which breed rooster is the meanest?

Sorry, I think he was an Ameraucana or and Easter Egger. I'm not sure how to tell the difference. I have another one right now, he is 2 years old. He is very mellow and very good with the hens.

Yes, you did it perfectly clove, but what is an EE breed of rooster?
An EE is not a breed per se, but a type of chicken that describes when a blue egg gene breed such as Ameraucana or Araucana is bred with another breed of chicken. The reason they have become so popular is that the resulting females will lay all different shades of pastel blue/green/brown and even sometimes pinkish eggs. The birds also can vary in coat coloring, resulting in some very pretty patterns,,depending on what you cross them with.

Another popular type of bird from this type of crossing is an Olive Egger. This is produced when you cross a blue egg gene chicken with a breed that lays very dark brown eggs such as a Maran, or Wellsummer.
This photo shows some Olive eggs on the top row, and the dark chocolate brown eggs that they are usually hatched from!

Well.... some of these mean roosters need to RIP Rest In Peace!

I only have experience with an Ameraucana rooster, and he has spurred me once. He managed to survive the night with my irate hubby after him. Needless to say, he did not make it to the coop that night, but was back the next morning. I have found him to be very nervous and unfriendly, even though I raised him from a chick. He's a real turd sometimes. If he spurs me again, it's chicken and dumplings time! He's kept a respectful distance since our last altercation about 5 weeks ago. However, I have noticed a "wild" biddy from somewhere
( I live on 10 acres in the country) has been hanging around our flock. If he sees her, he tends to get aggressive. If I am around, I get the stink eye, but no action. He does chase her off though.

I did a presentation with chickens once, showing them to preschoolers and stuff. And we had a Ameraucana HEN there that was evil.

I have only had one rooster and it was years ago when it was my first time raising chickens. It was a Bantam and was given to me by someone giving up their chickens. He was the BEST guy for being friendly to people and a super super guard for all the hens ( normals, not banties). He would signal for danger from above and if one or two hens didn't mind him and head for cover, he would go out there and MAKE them get under the trees. I still miss him! I am now thinking of adding one rooster as a chick to my present flock and want one who will be a good hen guard but not aggressive to me. Hence my searching this thread. It might come down to personality rather than breed but so far I am seeing Rhode Island Reds as being aggressive. Thanks for the input all.
