which calcium ducks vs chickens

for an egg bound hen, which calcium is better -
calcium citrate tablets with D3?
Or the liquid calcium gluconate? Is the citrate better for chickens and the gluconate better for ducks?
 
I think calcium gluconate is just more quickly absorbed because it's liquid. It actually has the lowest dose of calcium and the stomach tolerates it better. The vitamin d3 in the calcium citrate just makes the calcium as well as phosphorus absorb better.
I don't think one or the other is better for the different poultry types.
