Which chickens should i keep?

Hello. I have a smaller backyard flock that consists of 1 buff, 1 partridge, 1 black, 1 white bantam cochin hen and a buff cochin roo plus a bantam buff laced polish hen. Then I also have some standards. 4 rir and 4 barred rock hens. I am thinking of downsizing for the winter and also for space and food. However I cannot decide whether i want to keep my bantams or standards. What do you guys think?

Do the bantams lay good?

Actually they do. I have always been told that cochins dont lay good, but they have layed just as many eggs as the standards and also they are more consistent. The eggs are smaller but they eat less feed and as long as they are laying like they are, i really dont care if they are smaller. But when my standards lay, THEY LAY! LOL. THey lay tons of huge brown eggs.

Cochins are my favorite. I would keep them!

Are the standards and bantams the same age? That might be a factor to consider...longevity when it comes to egg laying.
