This afternoon I will be going to a breeders house and she has the following to pick from.
Polish
Austalorps
Japanese black tails
Rhode Island reds
Chochins
Frizzles

I will be asking when her next hatching of buff orps and white rocks will be because I've been wanting a buff orp for some time now so if she is getting those soon I will definetly wait and have at least one of those.

I plan on having around 4 to 5 hens, but I'm not sure which ones i should mix from her selection. Or if its better to just get 2 breeds instead of each chicken being a different breed.

I don't mind who layes the most eggs I just looking for a nice calm chicken who will let me hold them and be friendly. Eggs are just a bonus :).

I would like to have a group that get along well and I don't have to worry about coming up to a bloody or half naked hen.

Thanks in advance ;)
Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Orps, Lorps, and cochins in my opinion. I've heard that RIR are fairly calm and polish are rather flighty as a rule. I know mine were and never really integrated with the others. The black tails are very likely to not get along.
