What incubator is the best for a newbie. Something reasonable priced, I can't pay $200-$300 for an incubator.

Sorry... X3 .. you don't have to get the turner.. it is nice to set and leave it.. but if you are like me... I have a clip board with an outlook 21 day calendar showing each day.. I record turn times, temps, and humidity (RH). I do this so that if I ask my kids or anyone else who didn't set, they can write down the info, and if something looks really wrong, they can adjust or call me.

I would say the Brinsea Octogon 20 - $99 for the bator ( it has a fan ), you dont need the turner , You can turn it yourself with out even opening it or doing one egg at a time. I have used the styrofoam ones & its a little less money, but more work, space & opening & turning the eggs one by one really chancges the temps.
in fact as soon as i can I am getting a 2nd Brinsea Octogon 20 - $99 with the shipping 124.99
