What chickens can handle temperate states? I would also like to know which chickens can be with people and other chickens and can be found and bought easily. I like friendly chickens and I also want them to be able to handle different weather. What chicken would be an overall good chicken?

Very capable of being alovely pet for a Whole family.They are very hardy and lay about 200 to 280 eggs per year!Never brood,and found just about,everywhere.

Australorps were recorded one of the most eggs layed in a yeR,and often are very docile.
