Which is Bigger.......

I'm planning on getting some eggs from lake cumberland game birds. i'm looking for the heaviest breed, i've been told that jumbo brown is good at a good 14oz - 16oz but i was told also that the georgia giants are even bigger and heavier.....anyone knows which is the best?

The Georgia Giants can reach a weight of one pound as well as the Jumbo Browns. However if you are looking for meat birds, go with the Jumbo Browns. They mature MUCH faster than the GG's. You will starve to death waiting for GG's to put on enough weight to eat. LOL

American Pharoahs from J.M.F. are larger than most Jumbos. I hatched a few Jumbo Browns from Cumberland. They were not Jumbo.

That does not mean yours will not be Jumbo. There are so many breeders out there. Some will sell you really large birds and some not so large birds. Give these you ordered a chance. Might turn out to be extra large!
