Which is the most difficult to correct through cross breeding; bad toes (he has 6 on each foot!), split wing feathering, or poor foot feathering?

Sounds like I should just find some better roosters right? Oh well, they are just pets, but, I'm curious.

With the poor foot feathering, you can mate the rooster to a hen with great foot feathering, and see what the chicks turn out to have. Some will probably have good foot feathering. I wouldnt breed a bird with more or less than 5 toes because all the chicks, even if they have the normal amount of toes, they will carry the gene. Wouldnt breed a bird with split wing either.

Thanks, that's about what I thought. The toes seemed like the hardest to correct.
