She is a Malay hen. I haven't measured her height but she weighs in at about 9lbs. She wandered in with the babies and I had to get a pic, the size difference is so cute.

Thanks for the link to Malay chickens. So she is extra-special in addition to extra-tall. I can't imagine a 9 pound hen!

Creepy cute is a good description... She is definately special, nothing fazes her not even being surounded by adolescents

I couldn't believe that is where she wanted to go but she's still there and everyone is getting along so what can I do... I wanted a pic of them roosting together but it was too dark and my camera refused
