Which Plymouth Rooster?

Hey guys,

I hatched x3 Plymouth roosters last December and can only keep x1.

I would like to keep the one who has the most classic Plymouth Rock features to breed with but I don't have a particularly well trained eye.

Any advice on which one to keep?

Let's call them, from left to right, A, B, and C. C isn't in every photo (they wouldn't stay still) but they are in the same order in every photo and B and C are similar.

I like A but he is paler and has extra white barring on his wings. C is darkest and seems to be alpha although A has started mating the hens and they're squabbling a bit over it.

Sorry the photos aren't great.

Cheers

I prefer to keep the heaviest since I would process and eat the chicks he produces. Others might tell you to keep the one that is the most aggressive since he has a high probability of being fertile. Color would be my last selection point.

I chose a pretty boy but a darker roo was completely dominant so I kept him instead.

This was the original father.
(He was mated to Dixie Rainbow hens)

And this was his offspring that I chose to keep.
Very fertile. He's got 9 girlfriends and 20 out of 22 eggs hatched last time.

If you can take close-ups of your birds, it might be easier to choose.
