Okay, Here's my dilemma:
I have some beautiful Bantam Brahma roos.
I am trying to decide between keeping a Buff or Dark. I really wanted a dark hen, but they were all roos. I AM leaning towards the dark, but I am wondering how the genetics/coloring will play out with my mix of girls:
I have:
2 Partridge Cochins
1 bantam Gl lc Wyandotte
1 Sebright (who think's she's a roo anyway)
1 bantam buff brahma
I didn't even think about the Dk Brahma boys and their sex link coloring. I know a bit about genetics, but can anyone tell me how that might play out when I hatch?
It was never practical for me to keep the breeds seperate & they are a hobby/pet flock, so I have no intention of worrying about keeping pure lines- just healthy birds.
BTW- my Buff roos (or at least two) are more "bully-ish" so I wouldn't be keeping them anyway.
