Which sand?

Just finished my coop and run and will be moving the birds in this weekend. On the way home I will be picking up sand for the floor of the coop and run. They have several options. Not sure which one would be best.

I use river sand which is coarser than masonry sand. It is cheaper, too.

Where do you get river sand?

I have white wash sand my roommate found at his work. heck it was free about 10 30lb bags worth. so far it seems to be working well.
