Hi! I've got a mess of fertilized eggs in my house in my fake homemade incubator that my hen abandoned because they were at a different stage then the ones that hatched first. One has already hatched and is doing great. One is cheeping and apparently making his internal pip. I know I can never put them pointy side up, but I was about to toss all these eggs so I was picking them up and examining them closely when this one started cheeping. My question is if I lay it back on its side, does it matter if it was working on an internal pip in the direction that I put down on the bottom of the incubator? I've tried and tried but I can't candle these dark shelled eggs. If it does matter, how in the world do I tell?
