Hello, I have searched through this site and haven't found this question or its answer. Also, having looked all through Mr. Porter's site, I could not find the answer to my question, perhaps because many of his birds were photographed in the shade.
If someone, who has seen a lot of different varieties in person, could answer this, I would much obliged.
Which turkey variety has the most golden iridescence?
Thank you for your time and patience.

Rusty blacks and bronzes would have the most colorful iridescence, I’d think. Not sure if they’re quite golden though. More rainbow looking, in my eyes.

Blacks are iridescent, but typically a green iridescence.

The rusty blacks I’ve owned, in comparison, show a much broader coloration in iridescence, and often appear more colorfully iridescent.

Also bronzes. Bronzes breed true, compared to rusty blacks.
I had a bachelor flock consisting of bronzes and one rusty black, and the bronzes and rusty black were fairly equal in color and iridescence, only major difference being the bronzes had a white tail band,

I would say that Bronze is the one with the most golden iridescence.

Bronze is a very iridescent color. The amount of iridescence depends upon selection. Often, wild turkeys have more iridescence (due to sexual selection) but if you select for iridescence in domestic turkeys you can get quite a bit.
