So.....
I did that thing where someone says 'hey I have a hen and rooster as chicks, if you don't have them they'll die' and of course I'm now collecting them Friday. ( I can hear you all eye rolling from here) lol

Trouble is, or maybe its not a trouble..I was just about to buy x5 11wk old hens from my local farm on Saturday to fill out my new coop.

Now what?? Do I ....
1) Get the flock and start with them in the main coop and wait til the chicks are big enough to be introduced?
2) Let the chicks run the roost until old enough then introduce the older ones later?
3) Something completely different that you're all going to help me with :)

Massive thanks in advance

What Kiki says is a possibility and please do not take anything you feel sorry for, or if you did, do the strictest of quarantine.

How old are the too and pulley chicks? I am thinking they have to be several weeks old to be confident of the sex?

I would put the littles(?) in the coup first. Do add a lot of clutter, hideouts and roosts to the run.

Send a picture of your set up, as space and design are very important in an integration.
